We absolutely love pretty little ballerinas. My daughter’s ballet journey started when they were just 2 years old, and this is now their third year. It is such a joy to watch them learn routines and ballet moves, it is what they look forward to every morning on a Saturday getting dressed up in their beautiful tutus. Miss Tia, Miss Dana and Miss Lizzy are incredible and completely adored by the girls. The end of the year concerts is a true highlight – beautifully put together and such a proud moment for the kids. We are so grateful to be part of this dance family.

About us
At Pretty Little Ballerinas we help children learn ballet technique, coordination, musicality and confidence through fun, creative classes and play.
In our studios, we foster a caring and positive environment where we aim to inspire, encourage and share our love of dance with all children.
Classes
2-3 years Ballet, 30 mins
This 30-minute ballet class is for tiny ballerinas to dance along with their mum or dad in a fun, safe, caring environment. Each lesson we go on a magical journey with the use of fun props and imaginative exercises.
3-4 years Ballet, 40 mins
Ballerinas learn the basics of classical ballet in a relaxed, non-stressed environment. This delightful 40-minute class helps develop musicality and poise to excite and inspire young minds and bodies.
4-5 years Ballet, 40 mins
This pre-school class focuses on simple ballet positions, technique, musicality and the joys of ballet. By this age ballerinas can follow more detailed directions in a fun, light-hearted, nurturing environment.
RAD Classes
5-14 years, 60-75 mins
In line with the Royal Academy of Dance, children are grouped by age. These fun classes focus on posture, core strength, technique, flexibility, musicality & rhythm, anatomy & dance vocabulary, and body awareness & self correction

What does ballet mean to our little ballerinas and parents?
Attending Pretty Little Ballerinas class in Ruschutters Bay has become the highlight of my daughter's week since she commenced a year ago. She started just before she turned 3. We are constantly in awe of her teachers' patience and kindness, all the while helping the boys and girls in the class with their motor and listening skills, week on week. My daughter's enjoyment has lead to a discernible improvement in her ability to focus and take instruction, all within a framework of fun and inclusiveness. We are so delighted to be part of the PLB community.
Pretty Littler Ballerinas has been the best thing for our 3 year old. She loves it, and has been noticeably more confident since the end of year concert. The teachers are lovely and know how to effectively engage with small children
My 3 year old daughter has been attending PLB since she was 2 years old. We've had the pleasure of attending both the Coogee and Rushcutter's locations and the teachers from both have been excellent. They are friendly and very engaging with the children. My daughter loves the classes and the friendships she's formed. The end of year recital is amazing, the level of production and organisation is impressive.
Both of our daughters started ballet at Pretty Little Ballerinas when they were two years old, and have absolutely loved every minute since. Miss Lizzy, the teachers, the imaginative classes and end of year concerts have continually given so much joy to them both. I highly recommend!

With the exception of your free trial class, enrolment is always per term.
Based on a 10 week term
2-3 years Ballet – $240
3-4 years Ballet – $260
4-5 years Ballet – $260
Pre-Primary classes (5-6 years) – $270
Jazz classes (4-8 years) – $270
RAD Primary – Grade 4 classes (6-11 years) – $290
RAD Grade 5 classes (11-12 years) – $310
RAD Intermediate classes (12-13 years) – $320

We follow the NSW public school terms and holidays.
2025 Term Dates:
Term 1: 3rd Feb to 12th Apr (10 weeks)
Term 2: 28th Apr to 6th Jul (10 weeks)
Term 3: 21st Jul to 27th Sep (10 weeks)
Term 4: 13th Oct to 20th Dec (10 weeks)
End of Year Concert:
Sydney: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November
Newcastle: Sunday 30th December
