When do I need to drop my child off on the concert day?

Children need to be at the concert 30 minutes before start time, babies 15 minutes. If parents aren’t sure what concert their child is in, they can look at their ticket and it will tell them the concert session and start time and they can work the rest out for themselves.

Can I watch the rehearsals?

No there is strictly no parents watching, there are no exceptions.

How should my child arrive on concert day? / What do we need for the concert?

All children will need Bloch flesh coloured tights, hair in a ballet bun (unless they are Jazz), ballet shoes with elastic sewn on, light make-up may be applied at parent’s discretion. Children must arrive dressed in their tutu, hair and makeup done.

Can I come backstage with my child on the concert day?

No parents or family will be allowed past the green room on concert day. Goodbye’s must be said there, and children will be taken backstage by PLB staff. Parents will then make their way into the theatre. There are no exceptions.

Are food/drinks available on concert day?

Yes, food and drinks will be available on the day from the canteen. Coffee/tea will not be available.
